Who killed George Dutch? That’s a question that’s been haunting fans of
Dirty Sexy Money for nearly two years now. There have been even speculations on whether he’s alive. Unfortunately, that’s of no value at this point because viewers will never know how it all plays out now that ABC decided to pull the plug on satire drama. At any rate, the show’s main mystery will finally be resolve tonight at 10pm.
When we last saw the Darlings, Simon (Blair Underwood) provided Nola (Lucy Liu) with a solution to her problems, while Nick (Peter Krause) found out that Karen (Natalie Zea) is pregnant with Simon Elder’s baby. At the same time, Andrea kicked Brian (Glenn Fitzgerald) out of their house because she discovered that he had traveled to D.C. hoping for a rendezvous with his ex-wife. The Bio-fuel partnership between Tripp (Donald Sutherland) and Simon was also finalized. Oh and did I mention that Nola stabbed Simon!
There are certainly a lot of crazy loose threads on Dirty Sexy Money but hopefully, the season ender entitled “The Bad Guy” will tie everything together. After being stabbed by Nola, the badly wounded Simon is secretly taken to the Imperial to recuperate. As Simon recovers, Nick forces him to reveal how he is controlling Nola and why he had her prosecute Letitia for Dutch’s murder. This prompts Simon to tell Nick about his motivations for dealing with the Darlings, leading to a surprise confession about Nick’s father.

Dirty Sexy Money premiered in fall 2007 and was the first show on ABC to get a full 22-episode order after building buzz and loads of critical praise. Then the writer’s strike happened and show’s season ended abruptly after only 10 episodes.
By the time the show came back no one seemed to care anymore. As a result ABC canned the show altogether.
Fans of the show were left pissed off, but I have good news and bad news for fans.
The good news: ABC has announced its summer schedule and Dirty Sexy Money will air four new episodes this summer.
The bad news: That’s all you’re going to get.
Even more bad news: You likely won’t even be home to see the episodes since it’s airing on Saturday nights in the summer.

ABC is set to announce return dates for three of this season’s celebrated but canceled series: Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money.
The adventures of Ned the Pieman will resume Saturday, May 30, at 10 pm/ET, and air there for three weeks, until the series’ sophomore-season inventory is exhausted. Previously, Daisies fans only had the out-of-town Paley Television Festival screening (on April 19, in Los Angeles) and a July 21 DVD release to look forward to.
Following Daisies’ swan song, Eli Stone then will hold court in the Saturdays-at-10 time slot, unspooling its final four episodes June 20 through July 11.
Lastly, for four weeks starting July 18, we will welcome the Darlings back into our living room, culminating with an August 8 finale/the reveal of Dutch George’s killer.
